Sometime mistakes can be the most interesting. I am just learning astrophotography. I set the focus incorrectly on a series of shots. I had understood that you could see star color better if you slightly defocus but I was shocked at just how colorful the

I took this series of photos last night on Timpanogos at Pine Hollow Trailhead. Saturn is setting over Timp. As I was tracking the stars with an EQ mount the mountain is blurred but the stars are sharp.
